10,000 beds built in 24 hours: In an effort to provide beds for children in need, Lowe’s pushed to build and construct 10,000 beds. More than 6,500 volunteers used around 214 miles of lumber, 739,000 wood screws, 2,000 gallons of stain, 17,5000 sanding discs, and 308,000 lumber cuts to build the beds in 24 hours.
