Q: How long have you been playing lacrosse, and what made you want to join?

A: “I have been playing lacrosse for three years now. I was going to join my freshman year but I was honestly too scared, so I decided to join my sophomore year. The one person who convinced me to join was my best friend, Anya.”


Q: What position do you play?

A: “I played defense my sophomore and junior year, and I played attack and defense my senior year.”


Q: What has been your favorite memory from VHS lax?

A: “My favorite memories have been getting food after every game and debriefing how our gameplay went.”


Q: Do you have any advice for incoming seniors?

A: “Just have fun! Don’t take anything too seriously because you’re not going to remember every time you dropped a ball, but you’re going to remember the people who made it memorable.”


Q: What are your plans after high school?

A: “I will be going to North Carolina to attend a historically black college, majoring in social work!”


Q: Who is your biggest inspiration?

A: “My grandma and my dad are my biggest inspirations because they have taught me what hustle is, as well as determination and discipline.” 


Q: What’s your favorite movie or TV show?

A: “My favorite movie is Fantastic Mr. Fox, and my favorite TV show is New Girl.”


Q: Who is your favorite artist? 

A: “My favorite artist is Tyler the Creator.”
