Haunted Hallway Review

The Haunted Hallway is an annual event hosted by ASB where they dress up the 700s hallway into a haunted house-esque walk-through experience! As seniors who had actually never been to one of these, we had high expectations, so here is the totally transparent review of this event!

  1. Thoughts Before:

To be frank, we were scared. We have a very poor “scare-tolerance”. Prior to going in, we already led with a high rating; we had a lot of trust in the production quality of an ASB-led event. They also had a fun pumpkin painting table and ASB was also selling food. So even if we were too scared, we would still have enjoyed the other activities provided.

  1. Thoughts After & Review:

The Haunted Hallway was honestly phenomenal as a student-led event. My biggest enjoyment was how much all the scare actors truly cared about their role in the hallway, to the point that many of the people I knew who were acting were losing their voices from screaming at passing students. We also really enjoyed the fact that not only the 700s hallway was used, as the end of the maze-like experience goes through the boys’ locker room (it’s not as weird as it sounds!), which was turned into a makeshift asylum. Also, since it was free, you could go down the hallway as many times as you wanted!

Overall, it was such an entertaining experience, and if you haven’t gone, definitely try to go next year!
